The evening was held at The Old Crown Public House and I was one of about a dozen ladies in attendance. As in the tradition of courtesans, she is very educated, within institutions as well as within the sex community and is a respected authority and activist for sex workers. Now this is not a service Kitty specifically provides but it seems like this scenario happens organically. However, with evenings like this and her continued positive outlook Kitty is really helping to break the illusion of what a sex worker is and what sex work can be.
In the end I had a great time; an evening full of laughter, curiosity and empowerment. The question and answer session alone could have been 3 hours!
